Social organisation provides food, COVID relief materials to villagers in Kanpur

Kanpur (UP), May 15 (ANI): A social organisation has come forward to provide COVID related materials and food to people living in Paras village of UP’s Kanpur in view of the coronavirus pandemic. Kanpur Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Nepal Singh said, “There are no positive cases now. We have done testing of approximately 3,000 people but only 13 were positive. Cases got increased in between elections but now no such positivity rate.” “Several people were infected in last few weeks in Ghatampur. So, we are distributing essential COVID related materials and food. We are also spreading awareness by distributing medicines and vaporizer,” a social worker said. Volunteers reached out to people affected by the lockdown and are spreading awareness.
