‘Smriti Vatika’ opens in Moradabad in memory of COVID victims

Moradabad (UP), July 04 (ANI): ‘Smriti Vatika’ has opened in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad on July 04. Here, people can plant saplings in the memory of their loved ones, who died of COVID-19. Forest Department of the state started four ‘Smriti Vatika’ including this, on the occasion of Van Mahotsav 2021. Saplings are also arranged by the department. From this initiative, the Forest Department is aiming to plant around 5,500 saplings. Van Mahotsav is celebrated every year on the first week of July.
