English singer songwriter Ellie Goulding has put her five-storey London home up for sale, but for those looking to snap it up, it will set you back almost £6m ($7.8m).

The £5.95m semi-detached townhouse is situated in Oldbury Place, Marylebone, a cobble mews just a short walk from the bustling streets of Oxford Street and Regent’s Park.

Leading architects Stiff & Trevillion, who designed the newly refurbished five bedroom house, said it has incredible acoustics throughout, thanks to its mezzanine floor, high ceilings, and parquet flooring.

The newly-wed multi-award winning singer, 33, has owned the house for a number of years. A few months ago, she posted a photo of herself outside the property to announce the release of her fourth studio album Brightest Blue.

Goulding’s property portfolio also includes a £1.3m mansion in Worcestershire, which she purchased through her company Miss E.G. Properties. She also lives in a cottage in Oxford with husband Casper Jopling, who is an art dealer.

According to the Land Registry, the Anything Could Happen singer bought her home in Oldbury Place for more than £6.2m in 2017, meaning buyers can grab a £270,000 discount on the original purchase.

The 2,961 square foot building, which has a contemporary brick façade and large white framed windows, boasts a main reception room and an open plan dining room, family room and kitchen, as well as a unique and modern design.

The basement level of Oldbury Place provides two of the home’s spacious guest bedrooms, with a shared bathroom and a utility room.

The other three bedrooms occupy the first and second floor of the Marylebone home, which are accessed via a spiral staircase.

The first floor provides two bedrooms, including the principal-bedroom suite. The principal bedroom suite boasts tranquil views onto the cobbled mews street via two large windows.

Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with the main en-suite bathroom offering a free-standing bath.

The fourth guest suite occupies the entire second floor of the home.

Mark Pollack, Director and Co-Founder at Aston Chase commented: “Oldbury Place offers an exceptional sales opportunity. The modern interior of the home alongside its location in one of Marylebone’s most sought-after mews streets makes it a very unique offering.

“The design of Oldbury Place is ideal for a London professional looking for an oasis in the heart of the capital.”
