Singapore, Oct 9 (PTI) Singapore reported 10 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, nine of which were imported infections.
The city-state's coronavirus tally has reached to 57,859, said the Ministry of Health.
The nine imported cases have been put on stay-home notice. The other case came from dormitories for foreign workers.
This was also the third day that Singapore had no case from the community.
The five imported cases, reported on Thursday, came from Nepal, France, Japan and Malaysia between September 23 and October 6. They are under 14-day stay-home notice.
Thirty-five confirmed coronavirus cases are in hospital, including one in critical condition in the intensive care unit, while 119 are recuperating at community facilities.
Forty-four patients have been discharged from hospital and community isolation facilities as of Thursday, taking the total recoveries to 57,668. PTI GS PMS PMS
