New Delhi, Sep 14 (PTI) Silver prices rose Rs 328 to Rs 68,256 per kg in futures trade on Monday as participants widened their bets on firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery gained Rs 328, or 0.48 per cent, to Rs 68,256 per kg in 16,373 lots.
Analysts said the rise in silver prices was mostly due to fresh positions built up by participants on a positive domestic trend.
In the international market, silver was trading 0.89 per cent higher at USD 27.10 per ounce in New York. PTI SHW RVK
