New Delhi, Jun 24 (PTI) Silver futures on Wednesday dropped by Rs 48 to Rs 48,736 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery tumbled by Rs 48, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 48,736 per kg in a business turnover of 10,829 lots.
Similarly, silver for September delivery fell by Rs 49, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 49,670 per kg in a business turnover of 3,735 lots.
Globally, silver traded 0.05 per cent lower at USD 18.23 per ounce in New York. PTI RUJ RVK
