New Delhi, May 15 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday rose 2.47 per cent to Rs 45,227 per kg in futures trade as participants widened their bets on firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery gained Rs 1,092, or 2.47 per cent, to Rs 45,227 per kg in 7,927 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for September delivery was trading higher by Rs 1,152, or 2.58 per cent, at Rs 45,223 per kg in 7,932 lots.
In the international market, silver was quoting 2.50 per cent higher at USD 16.56 per ounce in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
