Rahul Gandhi to Pranab Mukherjee: Did you see the PM’s #FitnessChallenge video? It is bizarre.
Pranab Mukherjee: *Silence*
A snippet of a conversation between the Congress President and the former president of the country garnered attention at the high table of Gandhi’s iftar party held at The Taj Palace hotel in New Delhi on Wednesday, 13 June. Possibly knowing the significance of the comment, Mukherjee chose not to respond.
PM Modi, earlier on 13 June, had posted his fitness video on Twitter which shows him meditating, walking on a track inspired by the five elements of nature, and doing yoga exercises.
Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) June 13, 2018

As Gandhi mocked the video, the topic triggered a wave of laughter at the high table where CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury, former President Pratibha Patil and SP's Satish Mishra, and DMK's Kanimozhi were also seated.
This conversation comes amid rumours of Mukherjee not being invited by the Congress party for the dinner after his widely discussed visit to the RSS headquarters in Nagpur.
