Apple is all set to unveil its services on 25 March at the famous Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino. The company is expected to launch its streaming service, news service and now, there are rumours that an Apple credit card might also be unveiled.
The event, just like other Apple events, will be streamed live on its website. The live stream will be supported on all browsers across all platforms.
The event will start at 10:30 pm IST (10:00 am local time) on Monday, 25 March. Here’s how you can watch the event live:
Where to Watch?
Those looking to catch the event live, can log on to Apple’s website to watch.
Now, although Apple users can rely on their Safari browser to stream the telecast live, the event will be streamed live on Apple’s website across all platforms, as has been the case for all recent Apple events.
The event is expected to go on for about an hour and will likely to include Apple announcing its services store, that will reportedly allow news and video streaming services to be offered to iOS and Mac OS users, globally.
Since the launch of its TV streaming service rivals Apple with Netflix, the wait for its original content is still there. Initially, Apple’s TV streaming service will have shows and movies from partner labels.
For its news service, Apple is likely to count upon the likes of The New York Times, among other publications as partners.
Link Goes Live, 12 Hours Before the Event
Apple has made the link for the live stream of its event active, more than 12 hours before the event actually goes live. The stream for Monday’s event shows an empty Steve Jobs Theatre, with the MacOS screen-saver on the main screen.
Usually, the link goes live a few minutes before the event starts.
One Twitter user said that while he was on the live stream, the theatre screen showed an incoming call from Chris Evans, the Captain America actor. This, the report says can be related to the rumours of Evans working with Apple on its original content.
