Shopian (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 4 (ANI): Two Army personnel and a civilian were left injured after terrorists attacked an Army patrol party in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Thursday.
The exchange of fire between the security forces and militants is still underway.
Earlier in the day, the security forces cordoned off more than 20 villages in Shopian in the wake of recent terror attacks in the Valley.
The Indian armed forces, comprising nearly 3,000 security personnel, are undertaking a major operation in the valley to sniff out terrorists.
Earlier on Tuesday, suspected terrorists barged inside a police post guarding the court complex of southern Shopian.
The terrorists decamped along with five service rifles including four INSAS rifles and an AK-47 rifle. (ANI)
