Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday called for public participation support in making the 'Narmada Seva Yatra' a huge success. He added that his Government is also seeking farmers' support in the initiative. Chouhan had launched the 'Narmada Seva Yatra' in Amarkantak, the origin place of River Narmada in Decemeber 2016. The participants during the yatra, which aims to cover over 900 villages along the river in Madhya Pradesh's 16 districts, will take a collective resolution to make the river pollution-free. Senior cabinet ministers, social activists and water conservation experts are expected to take part in the yatra which will conclude in five months.
