Sheridan Smith has announced that she is pregnant with a baby boy.

The 38-year-old had previously sparked rumours that she was expecting, and now has told fans that she and her fiancé Jamie Horn are set to welcome a son.

Posting on Instagram, she shared a video of herself holding a pair of blue dungarees for her future child, captioning the post “It’s a…. BOY!!!!” with a series of blue-coloured heart emojis.

Fans later took to the comments to congratulate Sheridan, with one fan writing: “I can’t even put into words how happy I am for you."

Another chipped in: “Congratulations… little boys are always mum’s best friends xx.”

The social media activity comes after the actress confirmed she was pregnant on Thursday after she shared a picture of a baby blanket to her Instagram, with “Baby Smith-Horn” plastered on it.

“This is too cute!” she wrote. “Thank you so much @my1styears very lovely surprise.”

The actress previously sparked rumours she was expecting after complaining about suffering from ‘morning sickness’ while she set sail for the Stages musical theatre cruise.

She also called her other half, “daddy cool” in a separate video posted to her Instagram story, as the two were seen on board the cruise ship in their cabin.

And she later announced there was a “baby on board” during a performance on the cruise, according to The Mirror.

“I’ve got buckets in each wing and trainers so I can run,” she reportedly crowds.

“I’m very out of breath. I’ve got all these new symptoms, so sorry!”

The pair have been dating since they met on Tinder, the popular dating app, in early 2018, with the two getting engaged in May that same year.
