NCP chief Sharad Pawar reacted to Param Bir Singh's letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Sharad Pawar said ‘These are serious allegations against the Home Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh’. Sharad Pawar further added that ‘The matter should be investigated by someone who commands respect all over'. The explosive letter has sparked a massive political debate in the state. NCP Chief Sharad Pawar further added, ‘Claims of Rs 100 crores a month bribe, is laughable'.
He said, ‘These are ways of destabilising the MVA government, the opposition will not succeed’. ‘Maharashtra Chief Minister has the full authority to take a decision regarding an inquiry on these allegations against the Home Minister. The inquiry should be conducted by a team, who have an impeccable track record’, said the leader.
