Pretty clear about the XI we want to play at WC: Kohli
India’s international assignments have come to an end and it ended with a series defeat against Australia. The men from down under beat India in both the T20I and ODI series. After winning the T20I series 2-0, they came from behind to win the ODI series.
India did try a few combinations and a few players at different spots. MS Dhoni was rested for the final two games as Rishabh Pant got an opportunity. Ambati Rayudu was omitted from the XI to explore different combinations. When asked about India’s composition for the World Cup, skipper Virat Kohli said that they are pretty much balanced and it’s just one spot that they need to discuss on. Moreover, he admitted that India are pretty clear about the starting XI they want to play at the World Cup.
“As a side, combination wise, we are pretty sorted condition based. Maximum one change, you'll get to see. But other than that, the XI we want to play, we are pretty clear about it,” Kohli was quoted saying.

The Delhi Capitals are ringing in the changes before the IPL. In their latest move, they appointed former India skipper Sourav Ganguly as the adviser of the team for the upcoming IPL season. Ganguly joins the star-studded coaching staff of Ricky Ponting who is the head coach, Mohammed Kaif who was appointed the assistant coach and James Hopes, the bowling coach.
Sourav Ganguly expressed his delight after joining the Delhi franchise. “I am very pleased to come on board with the Delhi Capitals. Having known the Jindals and the JSW Group for years, I am now excited to be a part of their latest sports venture. I am really looking forward to working with the players and the support staff,” Ganguly said after his appointment.

Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Shivam Mavi ruled out of the IPL
India’s stars from the 2018 Under-19 World Cup, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi have been ruled out of this year’s IPL. Nagarkoti will be missing his second straight season after he suffered a foot injury last season. The extent of his injury is unknown for the time being.
Meanwhile, Mavi who played nine games for the Kolkata Knight Riders last season has been ruled out due to a back stress fracture. The Uttar Pradesh fast bowler picked up 5 wickets last season and had an expensive debut season.

The Kerala pacer had a good outing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy where he picked up eight wickets in six games at an economy of 5.81. Though Warrier has never played an IPL game before, he was a part of the RCB set-up for three years (2013, 2014 and 2015).
