After the debacle of TERI MERI KAHAANI, Shahid Kapoor is leaving no stones unturned for his upcoming film, PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO. He was seen in a jovial mood at Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai song launch from the film.

The 32-year-old actor will be seen in a filmy avatar in the film. "I'm a big fan of films in PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO. My character of Vishwas Rao feels that his life is a film. He's an aspiring actor. His mom wants him to be an honest police officer but he wants to become an actor. He's also a big fan of Salman Khan."

Shahid Kapoor is playing a struggling actor for a small part in the film. Telling us more, he says, "Actually in this film, the struggling actor part is more like a back story. What you will see a lot more is the fake cop than the struggling actor. In 75% of the film, you'll see the fake cop angle because my character is trapped in that situation. That was new for me in the film."

Speaking about his real life struggling days, Shahid says, "Yes, I've had my struggling days and I'm very proud of my struggling days. They are probably the fondest memories of my life. There are so many memories attached there."
