After Shah Rukh Khan And Anil Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan’s Shoot With Kapil Sharma Cancelled

Is the comedian unwell again? Read on to find out!

Yet another shoot of Kapil Sharma had to be cancelled. After Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, to name a few, Amitabh Bachchan was supposed to shoot a segment with comedian Kapil Sharma for Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 but unfortunately, it had to be cancelled. Well, before you assume the reason behind the cancellation to be Kapil Sharma’s ill health, let me tell you, this time it’s not because of Kapil but due to the workers strike.

According to SpotboyE, Kapil was supposed to film a session with the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan for the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, but sadly the shoot was called off as the crew members – make-up artistes, light-men, and spot boys had gone on a strike.

Earlier it was reported that the film and TV workers, who are members of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), had threatened to go on an indefinite strike post-Independence Day if their demand were not met. Well, the demands of the workers included a salary hike, eight-hour shift, and accidental and medical insurance. So, when their demands were not met, around 2,50,000 employees went on strike on August 16. These employees protested outside Film City’s main gate.

As these employees protested outside Film City’s main gate, this strike has affected many from the film fraternity. Besides KBC 9,  Shah Rukh Khan‘s forthcoming film with Aanand L Rai and John Abraham‘s Parmanu have also been affected due to this strike.
