The Serum Institute of India has reduced the prices for the state vaccines from Rs 400 to Rs 300 effective immediately. This move comes just two days before the third phase of vaccination will begin in India. This could also result in huge fund savings for the states. At present, India is facing a shortage of vaccines and other medical supplies. The next big player in the market is Bharat Biotech, which could also take a similar step in the coming days.
