Mumbai, May 2 (PTI) Select base metals including copper, aluminium ingots, lead and nickel gained at the non-ferrous metal market here today on buying by stockists amid good demand from industrial users.
Elsewhere, brass sheet cuttings, aluminium utensils and tin recovered modestly due to fresh demand from industrial users.
Tin regained by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,465 from last Saturday’s close at Rs 1,455.
Nickel and aluminium ingots prices rose by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 705 and Rs 150 as against Rs 700 and Rs 145 previously.
Copper scrap heavy, brass sheet cuttings, aluminium utensils and lead inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 396, Rs 320, Rs 118 and Rs 158, respectively.
