SEE: Justin Trudeau meets Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan. The internet cannot keep calm
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who is currently on a week-long visit to India, met the bigwigs of Bollywood last night. The purpose of the visit was to, in his own words, "celebrate stronger ties and new co-production opportunities between Bollywood and the Canadian Film Industry".
From Shah Rukh Khan to Aamir Khan, Trudeau and his family rubbed shoulders with the who's who of Bollywood. The pictures are sending netizens into a frenzy.
While the Canadian PM wore a sherwani, his wife Sophie looked stunning in an off-white saree. His children, Xavier and Ella-Grace, also accompanied him, although his youngest, Hadrien, was missing.
Trudeau took to Twitter to share a picture of himself with Shah Rukh Khan and captioned it, "Tonight, we celebrated stronger ties & new co-production opportunities between Bollywood and the Canadian Film Industry. And who better to help than @iamsrk himself... Great to meet you!"

Last month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Karan Johar and CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) chief Prasoon Joshi, to promote Israel as a shooting hotspot for Hindi films. His 'groupfie' at the event, a la Ellen DeGeneres' star-studded Oscars group photo, had taken the internet by storm.
