Security tightened amid coronavirus lockdown in Mumbai

Security tightened in Mumbai due to nationwide lockdown over coronavirus outbreak. Mumbai Police are allowing only those individuals availing or rendering essential services. Police checked passes and identity cards of people amid the movement of vehicles in Mahim area during coronavirus lockdown. On the other side, people were seen buying essential commodities from Dadar Sabji Mandi (vegetable market). There are total 198 positive cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 1117 in India including 32 deaths.
