Secret Superstar Box Office Collection Day 2: Aamir Khan’s Film Sees 304% Growth At The Australia Box Office
Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim starrer Secret Superstar that released on October 19, 2017, had a low opening and only had an occupancy of 15-20% range, which is too low for a Diwali release. Reportedly, on its first day, the film had raked in about Rs 4.50 to Rs 4.75 crore net in the domestic market. But in overseas, Secret Superstar sees 304% growth at the Australia box office and 209.39 % in the New Zealand box office (as per Bollywood Hungama) on day 2 respectively.
According to the report, in Australia, the film was released on 23 screens and earned 17,615 USD (Rs. 11.46 lakh), while in New Zealand, Secret Superstar has collected 8,721 USD (Rs. 5.67 lakh) from 17 screens. Looks like the film has garnered positive word-of-mouth. Golmaal Again was released yesterday, which October 20, 2017. It’s pretty obvious that Secret Superstar is going to face competition from Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again but we could still expect the film to take a good jump over the weekend. Secret Superstar revolves around the life of a teenage girl, who aspires to be a singer, but unlike us, she does not have the freedom to desire or aspire; she comes from a family where they do not allow her to even dream in her dreams.
