Second Rafale jets squadron to be raised in West Bengal

he Indian Air Force is going to raise a second squadron of the Rafale combat aircraft next month in West Bengal at the Hasimara Air Force base.
The first squadron of the Rafale jets is stationed at Ambala Air Force station.
The Indian Air Force has received 11 jets till now out of the 36 ordered from France. Six more jets are expected to be delivered in a month. The remaining aircraft are likely to be in India by April 2022.
The two squadrons with 18 jets each at Ambala and Hasimara have been planned to keep in mind the operations against the western front and the eastern sector.
