Scuffle between RPP workers, police over decision of removal of 'Hindu State' from EC's charter

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) on Monday protested outside the Election Commission's (EC) office against the decision of removing 'Hindu State' from its charter. The police baton charged the workers and fired tear gas shells to disperse the protestors in which more than a dozen RPP cadres were injured. The cadres of RPP blamed police of using excessive force in retaliation and demanded for resignation of Home Minister.
