It's hard to believe that it's already been a decade since cult sitcom Scrubs left our screens, after nine seasons of love and laughter at Sacred Heart Hospital.

And now, lead stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison, who played the inseparable John Michael 'JD' Dorian and Christopher Turk, have started a brand new rewatch podcast together to rekindle our Scrubs love all over again.

Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach + Donald will take fans back in time as the pair rewatch episodes from the show's beginning, chat about their experiences filming and share secrets and interesting facts.

The iHeartRadio podcast begins with the pilot, which aired all the way back in 2001, and will then take us on a trip down memory lane every week.

"It's almost like DVD commentary," Braff told EW. "We'll sit around and talk about funny stories and things we remember behind the scenes."

Not only will the pair host guests from among the cast and crew, including creator Bill Lawrence, they will also take calls from fans to answer questions.

"We started thinking of doing this for the people who did watch the show, fans of Zach and I who are wondering what we're doing and how we're doing," Faison said. "This is a great place to check-in and hopefully enjoying conversations between two best friends."

The first episode, which is available now, has got us off to an interesting start as the duo discuss everything from their auditions – Braff auditioned twice without the casting agents noticing – to feelings on their castmates.

The podcast, which the actors are currently recording from home, is set to take fans all the way up to the controversial season nine, so it sounds like we'll have plenty of content to keep us going.
