Schools remain closed amid ceasefire violation by Pakistan

Amid heavy mortar shelling and incessant firing in Jammu and Kashmir's Nowshera area by Pakistan, the local schools have been asked to remain closed by the state administration.The ceasefire violation started around 8 am along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district. Giving details, official NA Chowhan said India is retaliating to the heavy mortars and firing by Pakistan.Teacher of a Government School named Sapna stated the residents were traumatised by the firing and hid themselves inside their houses to avoid any accident. This is the sixth instance of ceasefire violation in April by Pakistan.
