SC refuses stay on sale of Electoral Bonds; says adequate safeguards have been taken

SC refused to stay on sale of electoral bonds in response to a petition filed in the top court that there sought a stay on the sale of Electoral bonds in lieu of the upcoming elections. However, the SC assures that adequate safeguards have been taken which nails out any need for holding a stay on the sale of the new electoral bonds. Prashant Bhushan representing the NGO of Association for Democratic Reforms has raised certain apprehensions in his petition including corruption and bribe which was dismissed by the SC upholding the opposing arguments of the Centre, state and EC.
