SC panel says Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal inflated oxygen need by 4 times during the COVID peak

The Supreme Court oxygen audit team has put the Kejriwal government on the pier for exaggerating the oxygen requirement for Delhi by more than four times during the April 25th - May 10th. The time was considered a peak of the second Covid wave and informed the Supreme Court that the excess supplies of oxygen to Delhi could have triggered a crisis in its cache to 12 high caseload states. The audit report shows that the actual oxygen requirement was about 289MT, but it was claimed to have 1,140MT, more than four times more elevated amount of oxygen than the fundamental requirement.
