Remaking a cult classic isn’t a cakewalk! And choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan has taken up this challenge as she is all set to remake the 1982 classic Satte Pe Satta that starred Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in main roles.
SpotboyE.com had exclusively brought you the scoop that Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma will be stepping into the shoes of Big B and Hema Malini. Naturally, the excitement reached its peak because the fresh pairing of Hrithik and Anushka filling the big shoes of Big B and Hema raised our curiosity.
Now, we want to take your excitement levels up a notch. A source has revealed to us that Anushka will essay the role of a gorgeous teacher in the film. Well, Farah is clearly seeking inspiration from her debut directorial Main Hoon Naa in which we saw a sexy Sushmita Sen as a stylish teacher, dressed to perfection in lovely sarees. Sush’s character of Chandani Miss became quite popular. Her long flowy vibrant sarees also became a style trend back then.
While, you’ve started imagining Anushka in similar kinda sarees, let us tell us that she will essay a New Gen Teacher and hence, will be seen donning short jackets and summer dresses instead.
How excited are we?! Also, we would like to remind you that in the original, Hema Malini played a nurse. Considering it’s a remake, we’re guessing Farah has taken her liberties and decided to present Anushka as a teacher instead of a nurse.
Speaking of the other star cast, we brought you the story that Preity Zinta will be essaying the role played by Ranjeeta in the remade version. While, there has been no official confirmation on any of these names so far, it’ll be interesting to see HR and Anushka on screen for the first time.
