New Delhi, May 4 (PTI) Saria prices fell by Rs 500 per tonne at the steel market in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by stockists following slowdown in constructions activity.
Traders said, reduced offtake by stockists on the back of slowdown in constructions activity, mainly weighed on saria prices.
Saria Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 500 each to Rs 40,400, Rs 39,200 and Rs 39,200 per tonne respectively.
Saria 16-25-mm also traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 38,700 per tonne.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per tonne): Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 40,400, 10-mm Rs 39,200, 12-mm Rs 39,200, 16-25 mm Rs 38,700.
