The Nawab of Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan turns 47 today, and more than the birthday boy, it's his darling daughter who has been ruffling our hearts of late. Even without making an official Bollywood debut, this lovely 23-year-old has managed to create a fan-base for herself, thanks to her flawless beauty and brilliant style-sense.
While she has managed to get us hooked on to her public appearances by a grand display of the fashionista in her, on more than one occasions, Sara is an emerging fashion-icon of the industry.
Last night, the Pataudis celebrated Saif's birthday in a private family affair, and Sara stole the limelight yet again. The gorgeous lady looked ultra-hot in a white, one-shoulder top teamed with a pair of matching shorts, but it was her spiffy choice of shoes that made all the difference.

Sara teamed her simple-yet-chic outfit with a pair of denim, thigh-high boots that looked just so hot on her well-toned legs. While she was busy setting the world on fire in her casual look, we were thrown back to the time when Hollywood celebrity Kim Kardashian first sported denim boots.

Known for being the progenitor of quirky fashion trends, the American model had worn a pair of distressed, open-toe, heeled boots by Gianvito Ross with a sweater-dress earlier last year. As expected, denim boots turned into a massively followed fashion trend in the international fashion arena.

While our tinsel-town celebs have stayed away from this much-loved shoe-trend, actress Kriti Sanon donned a similar pair in the track Main Tera Boyfriend for her film, Raabta. When the newbie, Kriti could only take up this trend for a dance number, Sara Ali was seen sporting it casually like a total boss.

It is appreciable to see Sara taking a step forward (pun intended), and successfully trying to step into Kim's shoes (pun intended, again).

Do we have a fashion-forward star-kid on the block already?
