India's centre-back Sandesh Jhinghan has blamed the absence of an offside call for India's defeat to Oman at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex Stadium, Muscat on Tuesday.
Jhinghan tweeted a photo from the match pointing out that Oman's Mohsin Al Ghassani was offside in the 33rd minute before he scored past goalkeeper Gurpeet Singh Sandhu. Ghassani seems to be just ahead of the defensive line before he converted Mohsin Johar Al-Khaldi's pass into the only goal of the day.

By scoring the goal, the 22-year-old Oman forward made up for the penalty he missed in the 15th minute.
Here's the incident Jhinghan tweeted about:
Earlier Oman had defeated India 2-1 in the first leg in September in Guwahati.
India are almost out of contention of World Cup 2022 qualifying round with just three points from five matches. India are placed fourth in Group E of the second round of qualifiers.
Jhinghan is currently recovering from the knee injury. The Chandigarh-born footballer has not played a single game since a friendly against North East United FC in October.
