Sandesara case: ED attaches assets of actor Dino Morea and Ahmed Patel; Rs 14,521 crore seized

New Delhi: The ED has attached the properties of late Congress leader Ahmed Patel's son-in-law, actors Dino Morea and Sanjay Khan, and DJ Aqeel in a money laundering case. The Enforcement Directorate has given this information by tweeting. Four different transient attachment regulations under section 5 of PMLA have been issued in this respect. ED's investigation revealed that Sandesaras had diverted the proceeds of crime of numerous crores to Dino Morea, Sanjay Khan, Aqeel Bachooali, and Irfan Ahmed Siddiqui. ED had also attached immovable and movable properties of about Rs. 14,513 crore vide 08 temporary attachment orders. Officials say that the cumulative income of crime, in this case, is higher than Rs 16,000 crore.
