Alert troops of Border Security Force (BSF) recovered arms and ammunition dropped by a Pakistani drone today morning. The arms and ammunition, wrapped in a polythene, were recovered from the Samba region of Jammu. The recovery included one AK 47 rifle, one 9mm pistol, one pistol magazine, 15 pistol rounds and one wooden frame used to support payload in the said Pakistani drone. Pakistan now has advanced drones and there have been several attempts by the bordering nation to push weapons including AK 47 and other ammunition towards the Indian side. Over the last few months, the BSF has recovered many arms caches and foiled terrorists' and their handlers' plans to cross the border.
