Salman Khan Unaffected By The Failure Of Tubelight?
Salman Khan‘s last film Tubelight looked something that new and it even looked promising. However, that wasn’t to be. The Salman and Sohail Khan starrer received a lot of criticism and also suffered losses in the box office, so much so, that Salman forked out an amount from his own pocket to reimburse the distributors for their investment. However, Salman remains unfazed by all the negativity surrounding Tubelight. Wonder why?
He explains saying nothing changes his attitude towards his work, no matter if the film is a running hit, or a flop. “I have never considered myself a superstar the way people make me out to be. I’m still an ordinary person at heart.” He reasons that who those let stardom affect their work, don’t stay among the clouds for long.
“There are actors who get in a complacent zone and think, ‘Whatever I do is okay,’ and that’s the worst thing to do ever. No matter which position one is in, one should always work in the way one did for his first film. That sincerity should be there in every shot of yours. You should just focus on doing well. If you take everything for granted, your stardom won’t take much time to come to an end,” added the superstar.
Salman is recently busy shooting for his next Tiger Zinda Hai which will star Katrina Kaif alongside him. The film will be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, instead of Kabir Khan who helmed the original. The film is slated to release on December 22, 2017.
