Mumbai, April 2 -- In Bollywood, it helps to maintain good relations with the stars. One man who lives by that maxim is filmmaker David Dhawan.
This time, he has gone out of his way to host a special screening of his upcoming film, Chashme Baddoor, for two of his favourite actors, Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor. Dhawan has, in fact, reshuffled his promotional tour dates just for this.
Chashme Baddoor releases on April 5. Ahead of that, there are promotional tours planned for Dubai and Delhi, the dates for which have now been changed. A source close to the film says, "Dhawan has been meaning to show Salman and Karisma his next film, as they've worked with him in the past and delivered big hits. They were one of his all-time hit pairs."
The source further explains that "the screening was to happen last week, but due to Salman's busy schedule, it was postponed."
The screening will now happen on April 4. "Dhawan has had to alter his tours. As per the original plan, the team was to go to Dubai on April 3 and Delhi on April 4 and 5.
The team is now leaving for Dubai on April 2 and will be in Delhi on April 3 and 4. They will then take an early flight back to Mumbai on April 4 to make it to the special screening at a suburban preview theatre."
