New Delhi, April 27: After getting bail in the Malegaon blast case, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur on Thursday said that she has been implicated in the Malegaon blast case by the anti-terrorist squad of Mumbai Police on the directions of the Congress party. Recounting the days of jail, Sadhvi Pragya said that she was physically tortured by former anti-terrorist squad of Mumbai Police chief Hemant Karkare and other police officers including Thane Police Commissioner. The jail days reminded me as if I am living pre-independence era. Even the colonial government could not have unleashed atrocities on a woman.

Rebuking the judgement of the lower court, she said that she is seeking legal opinion against the those who had tried to implicate her in the case. She said that she cannot be held guilty just because she is facing a trial. Sadhvi Pragya was given a bail by a special court earlier this month on special conditions. She was directed to submit two deposits of Rupees Five Lakhs and her passport. She was also told to appear before the court at every hearing. Malegaon blasts in 2006 claimed the lives of 37  persons and 125 injuries near a Muslim cemetery.
