Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is all set to have an Android powered mobile phone named after him. Smartron, the homegrown manufacturer, is going to launch the phone on May 03. The company took to twitter and in one of the tweets posted a teaser, hinting, the phone could be named as ‘srtphone’.

Interestingly, Tendulkar is one of the strategic investors in the company and the phone looks like to have derived its name from famous SRT (Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar) initials. Also Read- Sachin Tendulkar should help in cricket administration, says COA Chief Vinod Rai
