RRB ALP, Technician Recruitment 2018–19 Exam Date, City Details Released Online at indianrailways.gov.in

While a large section among them may be already employed, the applications have been submitted to the RRB in quest for a government job -- which is considered safe and stable, said a Railway official.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) activated the information link for the upcoming second stage computer-based test (CBT) for the Assistant Loco Pilots (ALPs) and Technician recruitment. As per the notice, the Indian Railways has released the details of the exam city and date intimation which is available for the candidates online at indianrailways.gov.in. Further, the travel passes for the Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) is also live now. The RRB CBT second stage ALP and Technician exam 2018-19 candidates are expected to go through the details and download the necessary documents soon to avoid last-minute stress. RPF SI Group C, D Today’s Recruitment Exam Postponed! RRB ALP second stage exam is scheduled to be conducted from January 21 to January 23, 2019, at various exam centres across the nation. The candidates who qualified the first-stage recruitment exam will now appear in the second stage examination. Indian Railways will release the RRB ALP and Technician admit card four days before the exam, that is January 17. The candidates’ exam city and date intimation will be mentioned in the e-call letters. Besides, just like the first-stage exam, RRB will activate the mock link for the next stage exam candidates so that they get familiar with the paper pattern and also test their preparation. According to the notification, the same will be activated on January 12.

The RRB ALP first stage exam was held last year, of which the revised final results were declared in December. After the stage two examinations, the candidates will have to appear in the final interview round based on which a final merit list will be created for the shortlisting of 27,795 ALP and 36,576 technician posts. The shortlisted candidates will get a pay scale of Rs. 19,000 plus other allowances as admissible.
