Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Gujarat Lions, IPL 2017, Match 31 Preview: Thursday’s match will be hosted by Bangalore

Royal Challengers Bangalore host Gujarat Lions for match number 31 in the Indian Premier League on Thursday evening. The match will begin at 8 pm IST. You can catch the telecast of the game on Star Sports. Alternatively you can see the free online LIVE streaming of the match on Hotstar.com.

Both Bangalore and Gujarat are struggling in the competition. If you look at the points table, Bangalore have five points after having played eight games. They have won two games, lost five and are placed at the sixth position. For Gujarat, it has been even worse. After seven matches, they have won two, lost five, have four points and are placed at the eighth position.

Virat Kohli, captain of Bangalore, needs to inspire his team, both as a batsman and as a captain and do something to turn around the tide for what is a deflated outfit. Also see- Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Gujarat Lions, Live Score, Match 31, Indian Premier League, 2017

Come to think of it, Gujarat will also look at their skipper Suresh Raina to do something similar as a leader and as a batsman.

We are very much in the business end of the tournament and for teams like Bangalore and Gujarat, there is a lot of work that is still remaining. A couple of loses could completely shut them from being anywhere in competition as far as the playoff positions are concerned.
