Row over Holy Quran's verses; bounty set on Waqf board's chief

It is now being reported that there is an uproar over a former Shia Waqf board chief's petition in the Supreme Court. Wasim Rizvi sought the removal of 26 verses from the Quran as they allegedly promoted terrorism and Jihad. The petition created an uproar in and death threats were issued for Wasim Rizvi. Wasim Rizvi has come out and openly lashed out at the Islamist intolerance while the Left lobby continues to remain silent on this issue. Several protests were also witnessed across Uttar Pradesh, over Rizvi's plea which has been called offensive and hurts religious sentiments. A bounty has been announced for beheading Wasim Rizvi as well. Watch.
