Row over Hizbul chief's kin's appointment; NIA says Pakistan fundings to carry militant activities

NIA Judge, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi pronounced order on custody in NIA Case RC against apprehended persons, Mohammad Shafi Shah, Muzaffar Ahmad Dar, Talib Lali, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, and framed charges against them under UAPA. NIA, in a report, said that the matter concerns a "Pakistan based company promoting militant movements in J&K by contributing supplies from Pakistan to HM." The arrested bodies based in Pakistan are Mohd Yusuf Shah (Syed Salahuddin), Commander in Chief of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM), and Chairman, United Jihad Council (UJC), Masood Sarfaraz, and Ameer belonging to Hizb-e-Islami. NIA had suggested a charge sheet upon 12 accused persons, including Ghulam Nabi Khan and Syed Salahuddin.
