Indian opener and IPL franchise Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma turns 32 today. Recognised as one of the most fluent and elegant batsman in world cricket, Rohit has wowed fans world over with his enticing strokeplay. While his Test career has not quite taken off, much like Yuvraj Singh, the legend of Rohit Sharma the limited overs batsman has only grown over the years.
On his 32nd birthday, we look at 5 numbers that reiterate that he is already a great in ODIs and T20s.
3,2,1 (Figure this out!): Rohit Sharma is the only player to have slammed three double hundreds in one-day cricket. He made 209 against Australia at Bangalore in 2013, 264 (highest ODI score) against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata in 2014 and 208 not out against Sri Lanka at Mohali in December 2017. Does that make him the greatest ODI player of the present lot?
Happy birthday, Hitman
