Rishi Gets a Taste of Homemade Phulkas at Anupam’s NYC Apartment

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor visited Anupam Kher at his apartment in New York for lunch and Rishi was all praises for Anupam’s “man friday” Dattu’s cooking.

Rishi shared a picture of the three having lunch on Twitter and wrote, “At Anupam Kher’s apartment for lunch. Had the correct “aate(flour) ka phulka( Indian bread) after a while. Great food made by his man Friday Daddu.”

Anupam also shared a couple of photos from the afternoon on his Instagram, with the caption, “Guess who came for lunch? I was delighted to have @neetu54 #RishiKapoor along with Santosh at my house for lunch. As Neetu ji rightfully commented that we never thought we will meet like this at my place in NY. But then don’t I always say #KuchBhiHoSaktaHai. Dattu was over the moon to specially cook for them. ??”

A couple of days ago, the three Bollywood veterans had also met up for dinner at a swanky restaurant in the city. At the time, Neetu had a shared on pic on Instagram, saying, “Always a pleasure spending time with Anupam ? he has been a great support all thru?”

Also sharing snaps from the evening, Anupam wrote in a post, “It was as always wonderful and inspirational to spend a beautiful evening with my friends @neetu54 and #RishiKapoor. Both of them are a great example of human endurance and triumph. Road to recovery, both, physical & mental is faster if there is love, care and determination. Well done. Jai Ho.???”

Rishi has been in New York for 9 months undergoing treatment for cancer. He recently revealed that he is in recovery and expects to be back in India very soon. Meanwhile, Anupam has been treating NYC as a second home since he joined the cast of US TV series New Amsterdam last year.
