Jaipur, Dec 27 (PTI) Mount Abu was recorded the coldest place in Rajasthan at 2 degrees Celsius even as several places in the state saw an increase of two-three notches in night temperatures, the Meteorological (MeT) Department here said on Sunday.
In plains, Sriganganagar, Alwar and Sawai Madhopur recorded 6.2, 7.2 and 7.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday night, a MeT Department official said.
During the same period, the minimum temperature was recorded at 7.6 degrees Celsius in Churu; 7.8 degrees Celsius in Bhilwara; 8.1 degrees Celsius in Pilani; 8.2 degrees Celsius in Dabok; 8.6 degrees Celsius in Jaipur; 9.1 degrees Celsius in Banasthali; 9.1 each degrees Celsius in Bundi and Kota the official said.
The maximum temperature was recorded between 21 and 29 degrees Celsius at most places in the state in the past 24 hours. PTI AG CK
