RV 400 will be available in two colour options -- Rebel Red and Cosmic Black. The motorcycle has an ARAI certified range of 156 kms. However, the top speed is limited to 85 kmph. Taking care of the suspension duties are USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. There are 17-inch alloy wheels with a disc brake at both the ends. The bike also gets RBS (Regenerative Braking System). Other features include a projector headlamp and fully digital instrument cluster. It has four different exhaust tunes as well.
According to Revolt Intellicorp, RV 400 has an ARAI certified range of 156 kms and a top speed of 85 kmph. It will be powered by a portable lithium-ion battery, which can be charged in less than four hours. The bike also gets an onboard charging facility. Revolt's mobile app can also be used to find the nearest mobile swap station to order the battery. Besides, one can also pre-order it at a location using the app.
A key component of RV 400 is the Revolt app, which is powered by telematics data collected from the 4G-enabled IOT device in the bike. The application will have features like bike location with map guide, real-time bike information, bike start/stop through Bluetooth, sound preview, bike diagnostics, bike statistics, user trips, geofencing with theft control and bike location sharing ability.
One can expect RV 400 to be priced close to Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) post FAME subsidy. For the exact price and other important details, we will have to wait for an official announcement.
