Prince Harry States Royals Are The Family Fiancee Meghan Markle Never Had; Actress’ Family ‘Extremely Hurt’
Ever since Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle announced their engagement last month, the excitement in the air has been palpable. Everyone had been waiting for the couple to make things official when news of them being seriously committed hit headlines. It was only natural for everyone to wonder when would the D day be, once the engagement was announced and the buzz doing the rounds was that the couple was looking forward to having a spring wedding. Well, latest reports indicate that the British royal and the American actor are all set to exchange vows on May 19 and we definitely can’t keep calm. The Kensington Palace announced on Friday that the wedding will take place at the historic St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, in London on the said date.
Thirty three-year-old, Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth’s grandson and fifth in line to the British throne and thirty six-year old, Markle, best known for her role in the famous US legal drama, Suits, got engaged in London last month. The couple met in a little over a year ago, thanks to their friends who introduced them. This will be Markle’s second marriage. She is reportedly expected to become a British citizen and be both baptised and confirmed ahead of the grand wedding, which will be quite a religious ceremony. Needless to say, Markle’s parents, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland, will also be present.
The wedding will most certainly be the most prestigious event of 2018 and will have dignitaries from across the globe in attendance. Markle’s close friend Priyanka Chopra along with others from the Suits star cast could also be invited for the grand ceremony. Well, this is just a speculation as the guest list is yet to be finalised. Harry’s elder brother, Prince William will most definitely be in attendance along with wife Kate Middleton, however, he will reportedly have to let go of the FA Cup Final, which happens to be one of the biggest events in English football. The Duke of Cambridge is the president of The Football Association and is usually the one who presents the trophy to the winning team.His children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are also expected to take on the roles of pageboy and bridesmaid.
