New restrictions in Maharashtra from today amid surging COVID cases; What’s allowed?

Amidst the surging COVID cases in the state of Maharashtra, new restrictions were recently announced by the Uddhav Thackeray government. As per the latest information, Mumbai police is making door-to-door appeal asking people to stay in doors as much as possible and come out only if there is an emergency. There are 3.3 million active COVID cases. There exists a janata curfew that is already in place till May 1 but few restrictions have been brought in place. It is reported that people will not be able to travel from one district to another, and if they are doing so, they need to have a valid reason with them and only in case of emergencies.
