Imran Khan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has vowed to bring about a ‘Naya Pakistan’ on 25 July, the day general elections are to be held in Pakistan. In April, the cricketer-turned-politician announced his 11-point agenda for a ‘new Pakistan’.
July 25, 2018 will be written in history as the day of the making of Naya Pakistan under the leadership of Imran Khan: A New Dawn!#وزیراعظم_عمران_خان— PTI (@PTIofficial) May 26, 2018
What do the youth of Pakistan think? Here are a few thoughts they shared:
"Imran is a symbol of hope and change. He launched ‘Sehat Sahulat Program’ which succeeded in giving 70 percent health insurance to poor people. " - Maria, Political Science student "In 2013, he (Imran) was given a province to make ‘Naya Pakistan’. He also played a crucial role as an Opposition in the national assembly. Judging from his past performance, I feel ‘Naya Pakistan’ is based on lies and double standards. " - Musa Bin Mohsin, law student
