Salman Khan's star studded film Race 3 refuses to go out of the news. From its songs, trailer, stunts, story and ultimately the entire film, it became the feed for the trolls on social media. The poorly made movie by Remo D'souza got backlash from the critics and Salman Khan fans as well! What exactly went wrong? The director recently revealed some startling details, slightly hinting that it was Salman Khan's involvement in the movie-making that affected it.
In an interview to PTI, the choreographer said, "When Shiraz Ahmed wrote the script it had the grey role. Race franchise is about grey characters but we can’t show Salman in grey character and other things were also happening. Because of all that. It just went little..."
There have been a lot of expectations from the film, owing to the strong buzz it had amongst the fans. However, the fact that lead star of the Race franchise Saif Ali Khan, was replaced by Salman irked many. Remo further added, "Entertainment-wise we had great action, songs, 3D, etc. People loved the action but then suddenly trolls started. The action was done by people who are masters in action… Story-wise I agree there were glitches. But I have seen worst films becoming a hit. There were few changes that happened during the shoot. The script got modified after Salman came on board."
Meanwhile, the 53-year-old star recently revealed why he never chooses a negative role in any of his films. He was opinion that, "Having worked in the film industry for so long, I have noticed that the youth often follow whatever a hero does. They blindly ape their favourite stars. That’s why I have decided never to play a villain on screen because people can get impressed by my actions." Well, the fact that fans were wanting to see him in the grey shade in Race 3 tells that they want him to something non-heroic! The flick also starred Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Saqib Saleem in the lead. We wonder what the mighty Khan has to say about the ABCD 2 maker's recent blunt statements. Do you agree with Remo?
