Rapid increase of beds in Delhi within two weeks amid the second wave of Covid-19 in India: Manish Sisodia

In a briefing today, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that around 2700 hospital beds will be added for the Covid-19 patients all across Delhi. Mentioning the major Covid wards in Delhi, he stressed on the number of beds being increased rapidly. Along with hospitals, various other facilities and centers like the Commonwealth and the Defence Research and Development Organisation, have started its makeshift operation in Delhi, on Monday. He urged the Covid patients to stay at home in isolation, in case of no major implications, asking them to not rush to the hospital once they test positive. In the video briefing, he also mentioned that strict action will be taken against hospitals that fail to update the state portals with available bed numbers.
